Welcome

Holistic, patient-centred care

Sisu (see-soo);
A Finnish word that embodies quiet strength, unwavering determination, and inner resilience in the face of adversity. More than just perseverance, sisu is a mindset—a deep well of fortitude drawn not from ego, but from integrity, purpose, and heart.

Land Acknowledgment

Id like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Îyârhe Nakoda First Nations (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney Nations). This land is also part of the homeland of the Métis Nation (Region 3), whose histories, cultures, and knowledge are deeply tied to this region.

What is Osteopathy?

At the heart of Osteopathy is a deep respect for the body’s natural wisdom—its innate ability to self-regulate, adapt, and heal when given the right support. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, osteopathic care views the body as an interconnected whole, where every system and structure plays a vital role in overall wellbeing.

After a full body assessment, through gentle, hands-on techniques the areas of tension or restriction are identified and softly guided back toward balance. These subtle, yet effective adjustments help restore fluid movement, ease in the joints and tissues, and encourage each part of the body to function freely—without unnecessary strain or compensation. When the body feels out of balance, it can show up as discomfort, tension, or fatigue. Osteopathic treatment works with the body—not against it—to promote circulation, support the nervous system, and restore a natural state of balance and vitality. Safe for all ages, this approach honours the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

What Patients Say

“Rachel is exactly what I was looking for to help me with chronic neck pain. I had been to physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy and acupuncture and achieving some pain relief but no long- term solution. After just a few sessions with Rachel, the pain was gone! I am so grateful for her knowledge, manual skills and overall professional approach. I continued to see her to address some other minor problems and she helped to resolve those as well. I highly recommend Rachel. - Georgina M.
